Terrorism and the Illuminati: A Three Thousand Year History ReviewCovering a wide array of hot-button, often polarizing subjects such as Zionism, Nazism, radical terrorists factions, and where each fits into this highly controversial picture. Livingstone has delivered an important, albeit highly subjective book that's part history, part ideology/theology and part conspiracy theory. Terrorism and the Illuminati is an in-depth view of secret societies, terrorism and present day conflicts, from the perspective that all are interconnected, related and fueling each other, thus propelling the world towards a "clash of civilizations."
Terrorism and the Illuminati traces and connects individual groups such as the Holy Grail, Freemasonry, the Knights Templar and many others. Lords, legends, myths and elite bloodlines, when analyzed independently appear insignificant and are easily ignored. However, when the dots are connected, a very different picture beings to come into focus. According to like-minded individuals, keeping these connections broken and the lines blurred, has allowed these secret societies and their members to operate in the shadows of a meticulously cultivated public image.
While many dismiss the idea of secret societies and a one world government as mere conspiracy theories run amok, many others would argue that is part of the plan. One should stop and remember the words of the commissioner regarding the catastrophic events of 9-11..."a failure of policy and a failure of imagination..." Thinking outside the box has always been a trait of forward thinking individuals and societies. Analyzing the ridiculous or outlandish has resulted in numerous discoveries and inventions that in retrospect have shaped communities, academics, governments and the world as a whole and their creator's are given the highest, most prestigious recognitions. Although the ideas presented in this book have been discussed for hundreds and hundreds of years, interest in these age-old theories is obviously still alive and well, as was demonstrated by the response to Dan Brown's book "The Da Vinci Code," as well as, the popularity of the subsequent movie, which was an international blockbuster.
I recommend this book to those who enjoy reading books about the occult, secret societies, one world conspiracies and it's possible link to terrorism. Also those who simply enjoy a challenging, thought provoking read that stimulates the mind. Terrorism and the Illuminati offers a strong starting point to begin your own research into this interesting, controversial discussion. Livingstone has included (at the end of the book) an exhaustive resource list that provides readers with lots of information, from a variety of sources.
(I picked up several typographical errors, however, these are not so egregious as to interrupt the flow of the dialogue to any substantial degree. The blame for such errors lands squarely with the editors and proof-readers.)Terrorism and the Illuminati: A Three Thousand Year History Overview

The New World Order and the Eugenics Wars: A Christian Perspective ReviewI found Hoffman's book on the NWO and eugenics to be a very concise visit through the key topics facing humanity. Each chapter presents general information about a single aspect of the NWO and/or eugenics. I found Hoffman's style of writing to be particularly easy to read. He explains complex topics using plain English that is very easy to understand. As a fan of the Future Quake show, most of the content was familiar ground. But one of my favorite things about this book is that each page is heavily footnoted with references to other books, articles, websites, youtube videos, as well as plenty of commentary from the author. Reading the footnotes was as enjoyable as reading the book! I especially recommend this book for readers that are just now realizing that we really are part of an epic battle between God and evil. The author's general information, coupled with his footnotes, will equip you with more than enough information to chew on for quite some time. The most important part of this book is how Hoffman wraps up these battle fronts in a spiritual context from a Christian perspective. Anyone who believes in anything would probably find the last four chapters "eyes opening"--including many Christians.

The 21st Century Economy--A Beginner's Guide (Vintage) ReviewThe 21st Century Economy - A Beginners Guide is fantastic; since reading it, I feel like I can be an informed and active participant in today's politics and current events.
I am a housewife in Oregon but I want to understand what I am hearing in the news, I want to engage in the discussion and be an informed voter. This book helped me with all those things.
Epping describes economic terms in a comfortable and understandable way. He uses real world examples that I can relate with. His topics are exactly in-line with the top stories in the news. His concise explanations help me understand the current economic problems and proposed solutions.Even reading the newspaper, if I come to a term I don't understand, I just open the glossary in the back of the book and get a quick and understandable definition... no wading through dozens of confusing web searches.
This book is outstanding and necessary. I think every American, from school kids to adults, should read it.

The New World Order: Facts & Fiction ReviewThis book is truly fascinating. I purchased this book right after I read Dice's "Illuminati Facts & Fiction" (which is another book I highly recommend). I enjoyed this book (like Facts & Fiction) because it doesn't bog the reader down with unnecessary details to the point of boredom. Of course, this book is loaded with accurate details and facts; however, they are very straight-forward, so anybody, be it scholar or a curious high school student can enjoy.
Mark Dice has a talent for research and informing the public. Some might be familiar with his work in viral videos that expose the sad truths to America's neglect and carelessness for understanding the most important issues taking place all around the world or even some other alarming (and humorous) videos where he convinces ordinary Americans to sign petitions to ban Free Speech.
In New World Order: Facts & Fiction, Dice takes his well-researched historical knowledge of the parasitical New World Order & combines it with the many insidious current events taking place between the oligarchs of the one world government regime to create this book filled factoids that a polished expert of the New World Order or a open-minded novice can equally love reading this book, which is in fact a very easy read. I personally flew by the first 150 pages without realizing it.
Mark Dice is a devout Christian {like myself} & mentions it all the time, so if you are not a believer in any god, that should NOT be an excuse to disregard this book as fiction or 'religious paranoia.' This book, like Dice's others, is religiously unbiased because those Dice vehemently exposes (The Bilderberg Group, The Trilateral Commission, Skull & Bones, etc) could care less if you're a Atheist, devout Christian, or a anything in between because they are after humanity in the end with they ultra-powerful corporate/banker sadistic strangle hold on most institutions of this planet.
Dice's book does what the title says: it separates the FACTS from the FICTION. There are a lot of dis-info agents (Hal Turner, Limbaugh, Beck, etc) who will mention the New World Order with many facts/semi-facts but season it with several sprinkles of complete mis-truths; discrediting the movement and it gives people out there the mindset that those who mention the New World Order are connected with these agents of lies; smearing the logical and well-researched truth-seekers.
Get this book if you are pro-humanity, against corporatism, against tyranny, against lies, against the FED, and don't be afraid to spread the knowledge or fact-check anything Dice says in his book because the "Facts" are A LOT scarier than the "Fiction" once you've opened your eyes to the New World Order. The New World Order: Facts & Fiction Overview

Prophecy 20/20: Profiling the Future Through the Lens of Scripture Review
PROPHECY 20/20 by Chuck Missler will do for your insight into Bible prophecies about world events what carrots will do for your eyesight. It's been said that eating lots of carrots will improve your vision, and I believe it: ever seen a rabbit seeing an optometrist? See? Well, I think PROPHECY 20/20 will also help you to see where we currently stand on God's timeline. And I'll tell you right now what time I think it is: I think we're about to get that "wake up call"; I think the alarm clock is about to blare; I think it's later than you think. Anyone who believes that all is well with the world is dreaming...but not for long! We're about to wake up to a nightmare!
When one has read as many books on Bible prophecy about the End-Times as I have, they reach a point of diminishing returns. I thought, Do I really need to read another book on this subject? Well, I'm glad I did because Chuck Missler's PROPHECY 20/20 is so up-to-date, and Missler always organizes his material in such a logical fashion. I even learned a few more very important things - not bad for an old dog, eh? This is the fourth Missler book I've mentally digested and each one has been a memorable meal.
PROPHECY 20/20 will give you a sharp overview of past Biblical prophecies fulfilled and then explore those yet to come. And I strongly urge you to dig in now because that light you see at the end of the tunnel (if you've got your eyes open at all) is indeed an oncoming train!
Did you know that an Old Testament Bible prophecy certifiably written at least three hundred years before the birth of Christ foretold the EXACT DAY He would ride that donkey into Jerusalem and proclaim Himself the King of Israel? Did you know that an EMP attack could, in a matter of minutes, blast the United States back into the 1800s? (Do you know what an EMP attack is?) Did you know that Allah is not the Arabic name for God, but is the proper name for the moon god, and that's why the crescent moon adorns mosques throughout the world? Did you know that three thousand slave labor camps in China are presently exploiting tens of millions of slave labor prisoners to produce much of the $45 billion in Chinese goods imported by America, and that America still designates China as a "Most Favored Nation Trading Partner"? And did you think that America won't answer to God for this?
Although PROPHECY 20/20 examines far more than just America's place in the End-Times scenario, one of the things I most appreciated about this book was chapter 26, The American Challenge. Many Christian preachers and writers love to extol the virtues of The United States; they lay it on thick about how we're the last bastion of freedom, the warriors for Christ on the globe, the conscience and the example for the rest of the world, and all that other hogwash! Missler is one writer who doesn't shy away from pouring the truth straight out of the vial:
Where is the most dangerous place for an American to be? In his/her mother's womb; there's a one in four chance of being murdered. Over the last 30 years the United States has experienced a: 560% increase in violent crime; 400% increase in illegitimate births; 400% increase in the divorce rate; 300% increase in single-parent homes; 200% increase in teenage suicides; and a 75% DROP in S.A.T. scores. The deterioration of each of these indicators - and dozens of others - can be traced to the year we outlawed The Bible from our schools. Think God might have something to say to us about all this?
One area in which Missler and I disagree is the identity of "that great city Babylon" which is utterly destroyed in Revelation's 18th chapter. He is looking for a reemergence to world power of the original Babylon in Iraq. One reason (among many) I am sure New York City is "that great city Babylon" is that the 18th chapter of Revelation clearly marks her as a major seaport. This could hardly describe Iraq's Babylon! I'm as sure as I can be that either New York City is "Babylon" or else the End-Times are still 100 years or more into the future because it would probably require that much time for another city to attain the wealth and influence described in Revelation 18. I believe just as strongly, however, that we now stand on the edge of "The End." But as with all Bible prophecy, a "wait and see" attitude is the most prudent. (Although Missler's observation on page 238 that the United Nations may be seeking to relocate itself out of New York "for a number of reasons" certainly doesn't hurt my case any!)
I highly recommend Chuck Missler's PROPHECY 20/20. This book, along with END-TIME PROPHECIES OF THE BIBLE by David Haggith, may be the only two you really need on this subject.
I'll end with the Billy Graham quote found on page 245: "If God doesn't judge America, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah."

America for Sale: Fighting the New World Order, Surviving a Global Depression, and Preserving USA Sovereignty ReviewThis book is packed full of solid research. It's timely. It's tragic. Yes, the nation has problems...plenty of them...which will not be easily resolved but the book is somewhat a victim of its own success. Unlike most books that harp endlessly on one or two main points, this book is packed full of hard=hitting statistics, examples, historical and future trends. Page after page is packed solid...the author did an excellent job keeping it readable so you won't get bored nor overwhelmed. It doesn't insult the intelligence of the reader nor does it cater to "entry level" only...good blend of valuable information, solid research and a somewhat wide/expansive coverage.
Likewise, Crosi does a good job "bashing" both left and right equally so those inclined toward one view or another will either not be insulted or will find themselves equally insulted depending upon how personally they take criticism of each party. I'm not a "conspiracy theorist" and tend to avoid authors that lean in that direction however, unlike many authors that rely upon 'hype', Corsi presents an abundance of information to support his premise and position. Whether one agrees with the conclusions is entirely optional - the information itself is what makes this book well worth the time and effort to read.
Equally optional is the suggested means of protecting both self and nation...depending upon your personal situation, politics and other beliefs you may agree or disagree. Most is solid advice that would do little harm and has the potential to help the average citizen much more than most suggestions.
Bottom line...excellent research, extensive footnotes/references, minimal hype/hysteria enjoyable to read whether you "buy into" conspiracy theories or not.America for Sale: Fighting the New World Order, Surviving a Global Depression, and Preserving USA Sovereignty Overview

Superclass: The Global Power Elite and the World They Are Making ReviewI grew up in the 1970's studying multinational corporations and inter-locking directorates, reading Richard Barnett's Global Reach, and so on. I am also familiar with the $60,000 a year special database that charts the top dogs and every membership, association, investment, etc.
The two major deficiencies in this book that left me disappointed are:
1. Does not name names nor show network diagrams such as you can pull from Silobreaker.com (Factiva is not even close).
2. Shows no appreciation for past research and findings. This is a current overview, closer to journalism than to authorship or research.
The book earns four stars instead of three for two reasons:
1. There is a very subtle but crystal-clear sense of goodness, ethics, and "good intention" or "right thinking" by the author. As diplomatic as he might be, he clearly sees the insanity of Exxon refusing to think about anything other than maximizing petroleum while externalizing $12 in costs for every $3.50 gallon that they sell--they did NOT "earn" $40 billion in profit this past year--they essentially stole it from the population at large and future generations).
2. Each chapter has a serious point or series of points, and I especially liked the author's constant presentation of tangible numbers on virtually every page.
Having said all that, I will list two books below that I found more interesting than this one, and then list a few notes that made it to my flyleafs.
Richistan: A Journey Through the American Wealth Boom and the Lives of the New Rich
All the Money in the World: How the Forbes 400 Make--and Spend--Their Fortunes
Notes from the book:
6,000 top people (in total of 6 billion, I think that's .0001--the author, who's no doubt better at math, says each is 1 in a million)
Top 1,000 rich own as much or earn as much as the bottom 2.5 billion poor.
Early on he says he decided not to do a list because it changes. I believe him, but I was truly disappointed to not find a lot of meat in this book--it has facts, anecdotes, a story line, but one does not get the "feeling in the fingertips" or the raw feel.
Early on he reviews and dismisses conspiracy theories, and returns to this in the final chapter where he reviews the Masons, Bohemian Grove, Skull and Bones, all in a cursory manner (for example, there is no table, a single page would do, of top Skull and Bones power figures today).
Power is shifting away from Nations. This is true. The author focuses on those who have money and live globally. He is not focusing on those who control their own spending, global assemblages. For that see
Blessed Unrest: How the Largest Movement in the World Came into Being and Why No One Saw It Coming
No Logo: No Space, No Choice, No Jobs
Global Assemblages: Technology, Politics, and Ethics as Anthropological Problems
Human interactions are the glue connects the superclass members--corridor meetings that take place on the periphery of "big events" where the important stuff is not the event, but the encounters--Davos, World Cup, Grand Prix, Allen & Co, Geneva Auto Show, Winter Olympics, the Chinese meeting on Hainan Island (the Boao Forum).
Corporate/Finance the top of the barrel, 2000 top organizations control $103 trillion in assets, do $27 trillion in annual sales.
Access/time is the most precious asset, one reason the Gulf Stream is really a solid indicator of top of the top--it provides time saved, mobility, flexibility, privacy, security, work en route, sleep well, etc.
The author tells us he is focusing on influence, not just wealth or accomplishments, but very candidly, while the book is coherent and there is nothing wrong with its facts or sequence of observations, one simply does not come away with a clear picture. This is like a verbal description of a trip around the world, which it is, but without the photos, smells, tastes, etc. It also avoids any substantive (as opposed to discreetly moral "in passing" commentary) attention to costs and consequences--a balance sheet showing choices being made (e.g. by Exxon) and who benefits, who loses, would no doubt terminate this author's welcome on the fringes of the super-elite as it would be devastatingly negative.
20-50 people control any given sector, worldwide
In the book the author seeks to discuss six central issues:
1. Nature of the superclass power
2. Link if any (ha ha) between concentrated wealth and the five billion at the bottom of the pyramid
3. Whether the superclass calls into question the sufficiency of our global legal and governance institutions
4. Whether the division in interests between the rich and the poor will be the central conflict of our time
5. Would we choose this superclass?
6. How is the superclass evolving
General conclusions:
Markets not working fully, need some non-market "controlling authority"
Elites are not taking responsibility for the poor in their own countries
Meritocracy is no longer--same merit, one becomes a billionaire from connections, the other a mere millionaire
Private equity is where its at in terms of starting salaries in the $300,000 range.
Globalists versus nationalist
Anti-globalists include leaders of Iran, Russia, and Venezuela
Tottering institutions--International Monetary Fund may not be funded by countries much longer
Global military-to-military relations work, political-diplomatic do not, and the money is mis-spent (billions here and there, and no money for spare parts to keep air forces flying, much cheaper good will spending)
Criminal elite a part of this (read Moises Naim's book Illicit: How Smugglers, Traffickers, and Copycats are Hijacking the Global Economy
USA has a power vacuum in that both the President and Congress have taken power that is not theirs and abused it, but the US voter has ceded power by failing to understand and deliberate on the issues.
He surprises me by bing familiar with General Smedley Butler's book, War is a Racket: The Antiwar Classic by America's Most Decorated Soldier
Two coolest sentences in the book for me:
"Most dangerous mind-altering substance on earth is oil."
"Cost is simply not caring." (Corporations that enrich dictators while ignoring the billions whose commonwealth is being stolen). For more on this evil and how the USA supports 42 of 44 dictators, see Breaking the Real Axis of Evil: How to Oust the World's Last Dictators by 2025
There is nothing in this book, published in 2008, on Sovereign Wealth Funds, nor does the author focus on dictators and "royalty" as part of the superclass. As Lawrence Lessig has noted, end corruption, end scarcity, begin a true harvesting of the common wealth for the common good. Right now we are all where "Animal Farm" put us--fodder for the wealthy.
The publisher's choice of ink colors for the jacket flaps and rear cover is terrible, those portions of the book are difficult to read.
The book is over-sold: "draws back the curtain on a privileged society." Not really. This is a solid book of facts that is as close to bland and generic and inoffensive as one can get--but then, that was probably the author's intent since he wants to be able to see these people again.....

Crash Proof 2.0: How to Profit From the Economic Collapse ReviewFirst a little disclaimer; as a college instructor and writer, I read a lot of business books. Frankly, I wasn't much a Peter Schiff fan and it would be fair to say he still tends to annoy me especially when he gets "hyper" like on an interview I just heard this morn via Financial Sense Newshour. Having said that, over the years I've done a major turn-around on my opinion about Schiff. Like many others, I initially would run across an interview here or there which seemed like he was excessively negative yet despite a bit of timing difference, the guy always made a lot of sense even while the likes of some so called financial guru's found on major media outlets were spouting stuff anyone with half a brain could see was downright detrimental to the average small time investor.
The likes of Schiff, Ron Paul, Nouriel Roubini, the Agora Group and others not only continue to make a great deal of sense but time is showing a growing crisis. This book has been updated to reflect many of the changes which have taken place since the writing of the first book plus added fairly substantial amounts of new research/content of interest.
The content is reader friendly, easy to understand and conversational in style. A brief history and overview is provided for those new to the discussion while those with more familiarity will still appreciate the updated statistics etc... Data is provided to support assertions including a few charts etc but are helpful not complex. Schiff provides a very solid explanation on where he stands with inflation and why including his definition of inflation. For those more versed in the ongoing debate - inflation vs deflation remains a sticking point among many investors. For the average American this is not a minor consideration when it comes to deciding what to do with your investment dollar, debt or money in general. Schiff tackles what he considered the "bogus deflation threat" head-on...an essential consdieration for every investor. Whether you agree or disagree - it is certainly worthy to review the rationale with a "what if" attitude before making a final decision as to your financial future.
Peter Schiff goes on to discuss various investments and risk(s) as well as provide an update of where we are in the predicted cycle. Closely coupled with this is a frank and fairly harsh overview of the current economic policy being put into place by D.C. combined with the status of consumer debt, corporate status etc...it does not paint a pretty picture or leaves much room for optimism but goes on to tackle specific investments including....
- TIPS (the problems)
- Currency Exchange
- Mutual Funds
-ADR's
- Cash Accounts
-Precious Metals
-Much more
Bottom Line - a worthy read for new investors, good updates for those that have read the first version. Whether you agree or not, Schiff presents important considerations every investor will want to keep in mind and does so in an easy to read method.Crash Proof 2.0: How to Profit From the Economic Collapse Overview
