Objective-C (Developer Reference) ReviewI am about 90 pages into the book and have found a couple of errors. Page 11 shows a GNUStep web page labeled as the Main Xcode window. Examples of initializers covered in chapter 3 go against everything else I've read about the subject. The author states that designated initializers "typically take the fewest number of arguments of all your initializers, and is the final initializer that all your other initializers will call to set up the initial state of your object." This goes against Apple's own documentation which states the exact opposite... the designated initializer is usually the initializer with the most parameters and the initialization "train" ends with it. And I'm no Objective-C expert but listing 3.6 seems to create a memory leak if the initWithArray: initializer is used. This book will need a second edition fairly quickly when Xcode 4 is released to the general public as all the screen shots will be out of date.Objective-C (Developer Reference) Overview
